About us
Founded on 1 September 2014 in Armenia, the World Association of Performing Arts (WAPA) advances the performing arts worldwide through festivals, competitions, masterclasses, concerts, artist-production initiatives, and congresses. Working with 150+ partner organizations, WAPA reports delivering 80+ international projects annually across 58 countries and receiving support from 22 governments/Ministries of Culture through cooperation agreements — including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Thailand, China, Sri Lanka, India, Mexico, Panama, Uruguay, Colombia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
